Bartel's Harley-Davidson held their annual Chili Cook Off last week and the Hecho En Venice crew was there. The Chili Cook Off is a friendly contest between local vendors and biker clubs to see who makes the best chili, with the top 3 receiving gift certificates to shop at Bartels'. Oscar made his family recipe chili to enter in the contest.
While the vendors were all cooking their chili, Bartels' had their bikes on display and hundreds of Bartels' customers and local riders showed up with their bikes, creating a full blown motorcycle show.
The Hecho En Venice tent had hats and shirts for sale. And Oscar was there serving up his home-made chili.
Bartels' provided the free hot dogs and soda to everyone. And every hour there were raffles for all kinds of prizes throughout the day. A live band rocked out tunes and the Red Bull girls showed up with free Red Bull drinks.
Even though everyone was raving about how good Oscar's chili was, he didn't place in the Top 3, but...
